2018 is our 15th year in business and brought a big change for Sugar and Spice. We have moved to a new location, offering cozy yet modern environment for our eat-in guests as well as an upgrade in space and equipment to service our catering clients.
Our Ribbon Cutting took place on November 2, 2018 and celebrated our new location and our 15th year in business. It brought out many family, loyal customers and local business owners to help us celebrate. Sue Serino, NYS Senator spoke and gifted us with a Proclamation. Frank Castella, Jr., President and CEO of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce led the ribbon cutting and spoke a few words. Also in attendance were many members of the Chamber Staff, Board and Foundation. Some of the attendees included Audra B. Gerty, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of the DCRCOC; Rich Kleban, Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of the DCRCOC; Nicholas Shannon, Executive Director of the DCRCOC Foundation; William Francis, Fortress Financial Advisory and DCRCOC Board Member; Scott Pawenski, Branding Pros and DCRCOC Board Member; Stephen E. Diamond, Stenger, Roberts Davis & Diamond LLP and DCRCOC Board Member. Owner of Pastry Garden, Stephanie Principe, was in attendance and helping Greg and Andrea celebrate. As Greg's Sister, Stephanie was both proud and excited for their accomplishment.
